During a recent conference, Aamir responded to questions about the possibility of taking on romantic roles again. He said, "If there's a romantic film I can do, sure. It's a little uncommon to explore romance at my age. But if I suit the character and the story, why not?"

Aamir explained that he doesn't want to portray characters whose ages don't match his own. "I would like to explore every genre of film, but it's important that I suit the age of the character. If there's a role that suddenly requires me to look 18, I don't want to do that," he clarified.

The actor's comments align with his earlier statements about the need for age-appropriate casting in Bollywood. He believes that older actors should play roles that resonate with their real life experiences and maturity.

Aamir Khan debuted as a romantic hero with the 1988 hit Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak and has since starred in multiple romantic films throughout his career. His versatility in handling diverse genres has earned him accolades and made him a critically acclaimed actor.

Recently, Aamir made headlines when he hosted the wedding ceremony of his daughter Ira Khan with her long-time boyfriend Nupur Shikhare in Mumbai and Udaipur.
