Producer on Thalapathy 68. Rumors circulated on Tuesday regarding the title of Thalapathy Vijay's upcoming film, Thalapathy 68, directed by Venkat Prabhu. Speculations suggested that an English title, "Boss," had been finalized, while another set of reports claimed the title "Puzzle" had been chosen. However, producer Archana Kalpathi addressed and debunked these rumors on her social media account on Wednesday.

Archana wrote on her X account, “Just saw all the updates. Thank you for the love. Keep calm and wait for the real one very soon @vp_offl is cooking something special. It is definitely not Boss or Puzzle. Happy Morning everyone. #Thalapathy68.” Fans expressed gratitude for the clarification, with one stating, “thanks for saving our mental peace,” and another saying, “We Are Waiting & Thanks For Giving Clarification Regarding #Thalapathy68 Title.” There is speculation that the official title will be revealed on New Year’s.

While Archana did not provide further details, there are rumors that the film is inspired by the Hollywood movie "Looper." Described as a time-travel-based film, Vijay is rumored to play a double role, including scenes where he portrays a 19-year-old. In September, Vijay visited Los Angeles for a 3D body scan for the film. The current shoot is underway in Chennai, with plans to film in Thailand and Turkey next year.

About "Thalapathy 68," the film boasts a star-studded cast, including Meenakshi Chaudhary, Prabhu Deva, Prashant, Sneha, Laila, and Vaibhav. Originally slated to be directed by Atlee, Venkat Prabhu was brought on board later. Yuvan Shankar Raja will handle the film’s music, and Siddhartha Nuni is the cinematographer. Shooting commenced in October, with Raju Sundaram choreographing a song. Vijay's last appearance was in "Leo."
