Actor Mansoor Ali Khan's remarks on trisha sparked an uproar. Trisha plays the heroine in the newly released Thalapathy Vijay film Leo. Mansoor ali Khan also did a role in it. But, it doesn't feature scenes in their combination. While speaking in an interview, Mansoor stated that when he was offered the role in Leo, he imagined a rape scene with Trisha in which he would take her into the bedroom with his arms.
These misogynist and sexist comments ignited controversy and Trisha immediately condemned Mansoor Ali Khan's remarks. Trisha stated that she is relieved not to have acted with such disgusting people and would not do so in the future. Trisha backed by the film's director Lokesh Kanagaraj and Kollywood film industry.
Megastar Chiranjeevi also extends his support to Trisha in the ongoing issue. He posted on his X account (formerly Twitter), " My attention was drawn to some reprehensible comments made by actor Mansoor Ali Khan about Trisha. The comments are distasteful and disgusting not just for an Artiste but for any woman or girl. These comments must be condemned in the strongest words. They reek of perversion. I stand with @trishtrashers and every woman who has to be subject to such horrid comments."
Chiranjeevi's strong words condemning the remarks became viral as he is the only big star from Tollywood after Nithiin spoke openly about the issue clearly. Trisha was a star heroine in Tollywood who has acted with almost all top stars. Chiranjeevi acted with Trisha in Stalin which was directed by AR Murugadoss in 2006.
