Sumanth new film gets the interesting title. Akkineni Sumanth, known for his compelling performances, recently garnered praise for his role in "Sita Ramam." Riding high on the positive response, Sumanth has eagerly signed up for a new project under the production of Rajashyama Entertainments, titled "Mahendragiri Varahi."

In a recent visit to Sri Sarada Peetha in Visakhapatnam, the entire team, including Sumanth, participated in a special pooja at the Rajashyamala Ammavari temple, setting a positive tone for the upcoming film. Directed by Jagarlapudi Santhosh, the movie features Sumanth opposite Meenakshi, with Kalipu Madhu and M Subbareddy serving as the producers.

Director Jagarlapudi Santhosh shared insights into the film, stating that "Mahendragiri Varahi" will center around the Goddess Varahi in Mahendragiri. The shooting, which commenced in June 2023, is now approaching its completion, promising an intriguing cinematic experience.

Producers Kalipu Madhu and M Subbareddy expressed satisfaction with the progress, highlighting "Mahendragiri Varahi" as the second film under the Rajashyamala Entertainments banner, and they are optimistic about its success.

Sumanth, known for his thoughtful selection of roles, emphasized that he doesn't rush into projects and carefully chooses films that present him in a new light. Describing "Mahendragiri Varahi" as a unique thriller, Sumanth hinted at the film's distinctive elements and teased that his character would have a grey shade, adding an extra layer of complexity to the narrative.
