Netflix Smash Hit Kaala Paani Is Coming With Second Season

Latest Indian series of Netflix, Kaala Paani is a smash hit in OTT. As it is available in regional languages, viewership increased multifolds for the series. Made as a survival thriller, this slow burner succeeded in engaging viewers with its intriguing screenplay and narration. The show stars Mona Singh, filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker, Sukant Goel and Amey Wagh among others.

Kaala Paani is an impressive mystery drama, with a gripping storyline, plenty of likable characters and a dramatic final episode too. On Monday, Netflix announced that their recent hit survival-drama series, Kaala Paani, has been renewed for a second season. 

The show is set in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. A strange, probably water-borne, disease has spread in the area. A desperate effort for survival collides with a race to discover a remedy, all whilst laced with human connections and a tale of love, loss and despair.s the race to discover a cure intensifies, desperation mounts, and the islands’ fate hangs in the balance as they are stuck amidst sea.

Kaala Paani is directed by Sameer Saxena and Amit Golani and written by him, along with Biswapati Sarkar, Sandeep Saket and Nimisha Mishra. The series premiered on Netflix on October 18 and became an instant hit.  The series is produced by Posham Pa Pictures.
