L2: Empuran first look released. Prithviraj Sukumaran's third directorial venture, 'L2: Empuraan,' is currently in production. Recent updates revealed the crew's location recce in the UK, with portions of the film also being shot in Delhi and Kashmir.

On November 11, the much-anticipated project made headlines again with the release of its first-look poster, shared by Mohanlal, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and the rest of the cast and crew across their social media platforms. The poster depicts Mohanlal in a chaotic setting, wielding a gun amidst helicopters and fire, hinting at an action-packed thriller.

The shooting for Empuraan commenced in early October and is a joint production between Aashirvad Cinemas and Lyca Productions. This sequel to Mohanlal's blockbuster 'Lucifer' is set for a simultaneous release in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi.

The anticipation surrounding 'L2: Empuraan' is high, following the massive success of 'Lucifer,' which made history by surpassing ₹200 crore in collections, marking a significant milestone in Malayalam cinema. 'Lucifer' was produced by Aashirwad Productions and directed by Antony Perumbavoor, a close associate of Mohanlal."
