Telangana CM KCR expressed grief over the death of Chandramohan and stated that the late actor has entertained crores of audiences for decades with his diverse roles and distinctive acting, and opined that it is a great loss to Telugu cinema. Stating that Chandramohan has amassed the love and affection of lakhs of people in Telugu as well as in other languages, CM KCR expressed his deepest condolences to the bereaved family members.

AP CM Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy also expressed grief over the passing away of veteran film star Chandra Mohan, who carved a niche for himself in numerous films working under great directors and production houses. The Chief Minister conveyed his condolences to the bereaved family members.

Chiranjeevi wrote an emotional note talking about his bond with the veteran actor. He reminisced that Chandra Mohan played the role of a ‘mute’ in his debut film Pranam Kharidu, and performed the role outstandingly well. Director Maruthi mentioned Chandra Mohan gave many golden films to Telugu cinema and mourned his death. Jr NTR averred that the actor was truly versatile throughout his career, performing a wide variety of roles and said he was saddened by his demise. Sai Dharam Tej felt that the legend brought smiles to everyone’s faces with his performance and characters.

Kotabommali PS actor Rahul Vijay, condoling his death, added, “My deepest condolences to the loved ones of #ChandraMohan Garu. While expressing his sadness, Aadi Saikumar hailed Chandra Mohan as a truly remarkable individual and prayed for strength to his family. Vishnu Manchu shared that he will miss the veteran dearly, recalling memories of acting with him in his action comedy Dhee and labelled him a wonderful human being. “He was a phenomenal actor and I grew up watching his movies,” the Kannappa star stated.
