TNIT South Indian Media Awards 2026 to Honour Media Professionals Across South India
The TNIT Media Academy is organizing the prestigious TNIT South Indian Media Awards 2026 to recognize and honour the dedication, contribution and excellence of journalists, media organizations, digital content creators, photographers and camera operators across South India.
The grand awards ceremony will be held on October 23 in Bengaluru, bringing together media professionals from Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu on a common platform.
Speaking at the press meet, actor Ali appreciated the initiative to recognize journalists and photographers who work tirelessly behind the scenes. He suggested introducing health cards for media professionals to provide better support and security to them and their families. Ali also assured his personal support for the initiative.
Director Relangi Narasimha Rao said that artists and the film industry receive recognition largely through the efforts of the media. He appreciated the decision to honour journalists through the awards and encouraged the organizers to make the event an annual affair.
Producer Ram Satyanarayana appreciated the initiative to bring media professionals from different South Indian languages together on a single platform. He said that recognizing those working behind the camera and in various media departments is a welcome effort.
Raghu Bhatt, organizer of the awards, thanked all the guests and media representatives for their support. He said the awards will recognize talent and dedication across several categories, including Cinema, Political Bureau, Metro, Camera Department, Print and Digital Media, among others.
Senior journalist Prabhu appreciated the organizers for their hospitality and the grand scale of the event. He said bringing journalists from different states together on a unified platform is a commendable initiative.
The TNIT South Indian Media Awards 2026 are expected to provide a prestigious platform to celebrate the valuable contribution of media professionals and acknowledge their significant role in society and the entertainment industry.
