Deputy collector in ACB's net

The officials of the Anti-Corruption Bureau on Wednesday unearthed properties worth over Rs 2 crore during raids conducted on the residences of a Deputy Collector, in charge of Land Acquisitions, Ms. Srilatha. The ACB officials on receipt of information about the deputy collector’s wealth disproportionate to her earnings conducted simultaneous raids on her residences in Chirala, Ongole and Vijayawada. In Vijayawada alone, the ACB officials stubled upon land documents to the fortune of Rs 2 crore. The ACB officials are still verifying her her assets in Chirala and Ongole.
