OU exams as per schedule

Hyderabad,  Jan 18:Notwithstanding the call given by Joint Action Committee of Osmania University students, the OU administration  had decided  to go ahead with the university exams as per schedule. To this effect the Registrar of OU released a press statement stating that the exams will be held as scheduled.Uncertainty and confusion prevails among the students in view of the JAC’s call to boycott the exams commending from tomorrow.

JAC justified its stand to boycott the exams in view of the recent Tealangana agitation.Meanwhile it is learnt that the students of Palamuru University in Mahaboobnagar district are on strike demanding the postponement of exams.
