Cement factory seized

Jagaiahpet,Nov 21:The Hemadri Cement Factory premises in Jagaiahpet remained tense on Saturday following an altercation between the management and the Commercial Tax officials.The company which has to pay Taxes to the  tune of Rs6.5 crores to the Government resisted the Commercial Tax officials in regard to the payment of Tax.Following the altercation between the management of Hemadri Cements and the Commercial Tax officials, tension developed forcing the police to take charge of the situation.The police were deployed at Hemadri Cements while the Commercial Tax officials went on to seize the factory.
