Chamundi seeks anticipatory bail

Guntur, July 23 :-

   Chamundeswarinath, the Secretary of Andhra Cricket Association, has moved an anticipatory bail in Guntur on Thursday following the report of one man commission of Director General of Police  MG Ratan corroborating the charges against  the ACA secretary.

As reported earlier, the Director General of Police, on Wednesday confirmed that  the probe into  the molestation charges against Chamundeswarinath, had been established.

The state Government instituted the probe into allegations which followed the suspension of the V. Chamundeswarinath in June last .

State Home Minister P. Sabita Indra Reddy directed the DGP to look into the complaints that Chamundeswarinath sought “sexual favours” from women cricketers for selection. The home minister announced the probe after six women cricketers from Andhra met her and complained against Chamundeswarinath.
