These stars rejected Amigos

Kalyan Ram's Amigos hit the screens yesterday and got the average talk. The film directed by Ravindra Reddy featured Kalyan Ram in three doppelgangers roles and though Kalyan Ram excelled in his roles with his performance, the story, screenplay, and direction turned out to be the weakling as Ravindra Reddy's inexperience got exposed.

In the meantime, it is coming out that Amigos has been rejected by top stars of Tollywood. Ravindra Reddy narrated the story to the energetic hero Ram and the macho hero Gopichand. Both of them rejected the story outright. He then narrated the story to Mass Raja Raviteja. Raviteja suggested a few changes to the story.

But when Ravindra Reddy approached Kalyan Ram, he believed in the story and the direction and gave the green signal at once. Almost everyone who watched the film felt that though the storyline was good, the director failed with his screenplay and direction and the narration missed the wow factor and said that the director failed to repay the confidence shown by Kalyan Ram in him.
