Rumour Mongers have focussed their attention to two superstars who delivered blockbusters with their latest ventures. As we know, Shah Rukh Khan's latest offing Pathaan turned out to be the biggest blockbuster for Bollywood in recent times. Surpassing the full run gross of KGF 2, the film, now, targets to cross even Baahubali 2's all time record gross.
On the other hand, Ilaya Thalapathy Vijay too scored a blockbuster with Varisu. The film earned decent collections in Telugu states while it spun huge bucks in Kollywood. And now, speculations are rife that both Shah Rukh and Vijay would collaborate for an ultimate multistarrer under the direction of legendary director Shankar. The project is supposed to be made with a whopping budget Rs.900 crores.
The idea of roping in a Bollywood superstar and Kollywood superstar for a multistarrer seems to be interesting, However, it must be recalled that Shah Rukh delivered a blockbuster after a huge gap of a decade while Vijay is not at all a Pan Indian star. When there are many Pan Indian stars in Tollywood, why should Shankar opted for a Kollywood hero? That's why this project may not be a big deal from a trade and audience point of view.
