Shaakuntalam gets a new release date

Samantha's Shaakuntalam is the most awaited project. The film directed by Gunasekhar is a mythological entertainer based on Kalidas' Abhignana Shaakuntalam inspired by Adi Parva of Mahabharata. The film has been waiting in the wings for a longtime and the film which was supposed to release on 17 February got postponed indefinitely due to incomplete work.

According to the latest, the makers announced the film's new release date. The film will be releasing on 14 April ,2023 in a lavish manner. The makers confirmed the film's release with the new poster which featured all the lead actors of the film. The film starred Samantha as Shakuntala, Dev Mohan as King Dushyant while Allu Arjun's daughter Allu Arha is making her debut as Prince Bharat on the screen.

Mohan Babu, Aditi Balan,Ananya Nagalla,Prakash Raj,Gautami,Madhoo,Jisshu Sen Gupta,Sachin Khedekar, Kabir Bedi,Kabir Duhan Singh are playing important roles in the film while Mani Sharma tuned the music. The film's promotions generated immense interest among movie lovers.
