Nandamuri Balakrishna's Veera Simha Reddy is gearing up for its grand Pre-release event on 6th January at Ongole. The event is planned in a massive way at ABM ground. Even the organisers started building venue and arrangements are being made. As a sudden shock to the makers, AP government has denied permission to the event. Officers are claiming that the venue has only a capacity of 25,000 but the expected number of people who will attend is more than one lakh. Citing safety issues, Superintendent of Police refused permission for the event.
This news came as a jolt to the team who are all set for a massive event in two days. The arrangements has been removed by the organizers. News is other big venue on the outskirts of Ongole has been selected. But there is no official word from makers and organisers regarding the same. Speculations are also rife that the permission to the Chiranjeevi starrer Waltair Veerayya might also be cancelled. Many are doubting that the reson behind these are the latest GO about not conducting rallies and roadshows. But, those are not for open ground meetings and gatherings.
Fans are hopeful that Veera Simha Reddy event will happen on the same date at Ongole. Touted to be a heavy duty action film Veera Simha Reddy is slated to release on 12th January as Pongal special.
