Cirkus Concludes Worst Year For Pooja Hegde

Pooja Hegde rose to stardom in a short span of time. After her debut Oka Laila Kosam and Mukunda she went to Bollywood for Hrithik Roshan's Mohenjo Daro. She didn't signed another film for two years and after the Hindi film bombed she came back to Tollywood signing Duvvada Jagannadham opposite Allu Arjun. She did a glamorous role and gained popularity as the next big thing in Tollywood. Her item song in Rangasthalam also became huge hit and increased her craze. Then she faced a debacle in the for of much hyped Saakshyam with Bellamkonda Srinivas. 

Pooja got to fame road with Aravinda Sametha opposite NTR in Trivikram's direction. She got full marks for her performance and looks in this film. Followed by Mahesh Babu's Maharshi, Varun Tej Gaddalakonda Ganesh (Special Role), Housefull 4 in Hindi, Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo with Allu Arjun in Trivikram's direction and Most Eligible Bachelor with Akhil Akkieni...  Pooja scored a continuous Superhits, Successful films which made her a top star in Tollywood.

But, the year 2022 gives a sour taste for Glamorous Diva. She was seen a total of five films this year and one of them is a special song in F3 which doesn't count as her film in a lead role. 

So, out of four films, Radhe Shyam was the first film released post pandemic and it came with huge buzz in Pan India level. But, the film sank without a trace. Much hyped Beast with Thalapathy Vijay too disappointed Pooja Hegde with its below average result. This is the only film for Vijay in recent time that became a boxoffice failure. Then comes Acharya starring Megastar Chiranjeevi and Mega Power Star Ram Charan. Pooja played as love interest for Ram Charan. It became a colossal disaster when it comes to mega loss for distributors. The success of F3 is only respite for Pooja Hegde but she did only a special song in the film. 

Now, the latest and final film of the year Cirkus, starring Ranveer Singh Directed by Rohit Shetty hit the screens worldwide. The film opened to atrocious reviews some even calling it the career worst film of Ranveer and Rohit . With this result Pooja's Bollywood bubble is burst. But, she have a couple of big films in her kitty. Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan with Salman Khan and Superstar Mahesh - Trivikram's SSMB 28. There are all chances she will be retaining her top spot if these films score big at the boxoffice. Let's hope the new year will bring Pooja Hegde the much needed Blockbuster success.
