Remuneration: NBK scores over Chiru

Among the four senior stars, Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna, Nagarjuna, and Venkatesh, only Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna are doing mass action entertainers. Venkatesh and Nagarjuna are confirmed to doing feel-good family entertainers. Post covid, it was left to Balakrishna to revive the industry scoring a resounding hit with action entertainer Akhanda. Chiranjeevi recently entertained the masses with Godfather.

Now the remuneration secrets of Balakrishna and Chiranjeevi are out and in one aspect Balakrishna scores over Chiranjeevi. Balakrishna received just Rs 8crs as remuneration for Akhanda. It is known that Akhanda turned out to be a massive hit despite the low ticket rates in Andhra Pradesh. After such a hit, anyone would have increased remuneration and would have demanded more than Rs 20crs for their next project. However, Balakrishna is getting only Rs 12crs for his upcoming film Veera Simha Reddy.  He is getting Rs 15crs for his next with Anil Ravipudi.

On the other hand, Chiranjeevi drew Rs 30crs for Khaidi No 150, Sye Raa. Since those two are their own films, no matter how much they take. Later His remuneration Reached 50cr for Acharya and Godfather. Everyone knows how Acharya tanked at the box office and Godfather struggled to reach breakeven. Many wonders why Balakrishna is drawing such less remuneration. Balakrishna feels, less enumeration helps producers to get more profits unlike the case of Chiranjeevi where more remuneration is landing them in losses.
