Liger controversy: Why is Vijay Devarakonda not bothered

Rowdy Star Vijay Devarakonda got a huge shock when his Bollywood dreams came down crashing with Liger. The film directed by Puri Jagannath which was released amidst huge expectations, bombed at the box office turned out to be the biggest disaster in Vijay Devarakonda's career.

Of late, distributors have been demanding Puri Jagannath to compensate them for the losses and even a few went on record threatening to sit on a dharna in front of Puri Jagannath's house. Puri Jagannath came up with a strong retort and even sought police protection alleging a threat to his and his family members' lives.

In the midst of all this, speculation is on as to why is Vijay Devarakonda is maintaining a stoic silence and is not bothered about the entire controversy. Inside talk is Vijay Devarakonda did not receive a single penny as the remuneration for the project and so he is staying away from the controversy.
