Rowdy Star Vijay Devarakonda's sports-based action entertainer Liger is slated for a spectacular release across the world on August 25. The film is witnessing an unprecedented craze and the demand for tickets is increasing with each passing second. The film's US premiers will be screened in a couple of hours from now and in the midst of all this, speculation is on whether Vijay Devarakonda can break the boycott jinx in Bollywood.

Though Liger happens to be Vijay Devarakonda's debut project in Bollywood expectations are high owing to his mass following among Genex youngsters. Of late, even top Bollywood stars like Aamir Khan and Akshay Kumar faced the boycott heat and this resulted in their films Lal Singh Chaddha and Raksha Bandhan tanking at the box office.

On top of it, Vijay Devarakonda came in support of Aamir Khan's Laal Singh Chaddha and this is having a negative impact.
