Samantha blasts the mudslinging campaign

Ever since the official confirmation of divorce by the celebrity couple Naga Chaitanya and Samantha, many started spinning theories on why the couple parted ways. Though the couple requested everyone to give them peace of mind and support them in the difficult situation, many started blaming Samantha . Some so called psychologists and journalists started giving interviews saying Samantha didnot get into the terms with Akkineni family and her bold roles, over ambitious career goals hurt the sentiments of Akkineni family, especially her husband Naga Chaitanya, in laws Nagarjuna and Amala. They said Samantha inorder to continue her career decided to have kids through surrogacy and this resulted in a huge conflict.

Though few like Madhavi Latha came in support of Samantha, many started blaming her saying her roles and exposing in webseries like Family Man 2, liplock in Rangastham was the reason. Some even said Samantha had affair with her hair stylist and even had abortion. Samantha who till now chose not to respond but only come with cryptic messages like shares from other renowned people, today blasted the mudslinging campaign against her and the rumour mongers.

She wrote, 'Your emotional investment into a personal crisis has overwhelmed me. Thank you all for showing deep empathy, concern and for defending me against false rumours and stories that are being spread. They say I had affairs, never wanted children, that I am an opportunist and now that I have had abortions. A divorce in itself is an extremely painful process. Let alone allowing me the time to heal. This attack on me personally, has been relentless. But I promise you this, I will never allow this or anything else they say, break me.'
