Tollywood's passionate director Sukumar is considered to be one of the Mr Perfectionists in the industry. That's why he takes more time than other directors to complete a film. Even then, the director's three precious years have been wasted for three vital reasons.

As we all know, Sukumar's previous offing Rangasthalam hit the marquee on 30 March, 2018 and stood as an industry hit. (non BB). Thereafter, the director wanted to collaborate Prince Mahesh Babu for a period entertainer. Since Mahesh Babu turned down the project, Sukumar had to prepare another one.

But then, Mahesh Babu is learnt to have kept the director in waiting without saying either 'yes' or 'no' to the latter's script. Vexed by the ambiguous stand of Mahesh Babu, Sukumar has teamed up Stylish Star Allu Arjun for Pushpa.

Sukumar, however, had to wait for more time as Allu Arjun had been busy wrapping up for 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo'.

Since AVPL was also released, decks were supposed to have cleared for Sukumar to head for an uninterrupted shoot of Pushpa.

Nonetheless, 'Man proposes, God disposes'. The outspread of coronavirus pandemic and the subsequent lockdowns in India turned a major jolt for Pushpa's team. The film is now expected to go on sets once the impact of the pandemic is slowed down. Hopefully, Sukumar won't face obstacles this time.
