Noted national media house India Today telecast a survey report on the number of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) kits available at the states of India. The channel chose 12 states where coronavirus is fast-spreading.
Shockingly, Telangana state stands at the bottom with just 3,132 kits shown by the survey report which made TRS minister Ktr became furious over India Today's fake report. Claiming it as a disgraceful journalism, Ktr challenged Rahul Kanwal, the journo, who indulged in fake report, what he could do if the government would prove 100 times more the PPEs with them than what the number shown by India Today.
"Rahul, If you don’t have accurate data, don’t publish nonsense & confuse people in these troubling times Will you & India today apologise if I prove that we have 100 times more PPEs than what you have projected here? Sorry but this is disgraceful journalism @sardesairajdeep. For your information; We currently have more than 3.6 lakh PPEs with us already and 6 more lakh PPEs will be with us shortly. I hope you will have the decency to withdraw this fake & baseless graphic," Ktr tweeted.
