Tollywood's Silent Support To Visakhapatnam!

The latest decision by Andhra Pradesh government headed by Jagan Mohan Reddy to have three capitals, legislative in Amaravathi, the executive in Visakhapatnam and judicial in Kurnool instead of Amaravathi alone resulted in huge controversy.

This triggered huge protests from the farmers and people of Amaravati but surprisingly none from the Tollywood fraternity expressed their views for and against the decision except for Megastar Chiranjeevi who supported Vizag as capital. This is in stark contrast to his brother Pawan Kalyan, chief of Jana Sena who opposed the move.

In the midst of all this, many feel that Tollywood is silently supporting Vizag as the capital of Andhra Pradesh. This because many film personalities own huge tracts of land in Visakhapatnam and they are now keen to develop it.

Suresh Babu owns vast land and already built Rama Naidu studios while inside talk is Chiranjeevi too is keen to come up with a studio. Allu Aravind also has land and is now concentrating on real estate and construction business.

Puri Jagannadh is happy with Vizag as the capital and sources reveal that Harikrishna's family members and his relatives invested in Vizag longtime back. A top multiplex owner is planning to come with a multiplex, associating with a top Tollywood star in Visakhapatnam.

Rajamouli and Anushka also acquired lands in Visakhapatnam and Dil Raju though hails from Hyderabad owns many theatres in the steel city.
