Review 2019: Varun Starts, Sai Ends

2019 has witnessed around 20 hit films in Tollywood. Interestingly, two young Mega Heroes turned out to be parts of the first blockbuster and the last blockbuster of this year. 

F2 Fun and Frustration, which got released on January 12, stood as the first blockbuster of the year. As we know, Victory Venkatesh and Mega Prince Varun Tej played lead roles of the film. Undoubtedly, Venkatesh dominated the show with his terrific performance in the film. However, mega fans took the movie to next level which made the film span Rs.80+ crore full run share world wide. Varun Tej proved his comic timing in this film. 

While Varun Tej delivered the first blockbuster of the year, another talented mega hero Supreme hero Saitej gave the last blockbuster to Tollywood in the form of Prati Roju Pandaage. The film which collected Rs.20+ crores share for one week, has aimed at Rs.30+ crores full run share. The film has done a pre release business Rs.18 crores. 

Co-incidentally, both the heroes did two films each and all those films became hits. Varun Tej's Gaddalakonda Ganesh stood as a decent hit while Sai's Chitralahari became the comeback film for Sai after a series of failures. 

Right now, Mega Prince is working on a film that has boxing backdrop while Sai aimed at youth audience with an interesting film titled 'Solo Brathuke So Better'.
