Review 2019: Chiranjeevi Impact on These Films

Though Megastar Chiranjeevi ensured just one film, Sye Raa Narasimhareddy released in 2019, his impact, either directly or indirectly, can be sensed in some of the films. 

* Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas's crime thriller Rakshasudu title was adopted from Megastar's blockbuster film of 1980s. Bellamkonda's Rakshasudu stood as an above average venture.

* Hero Karthi came up with a film that is titled Megastar's trend setting film 'Khaidi'. Karthi's Khaidi stood as a huge hit in Telugu states. Even Karthi's Donga was also made with Chiranjeevi's super hit Donga title. The film couldn't live up to the expectations.

* Natural Star Nani drew the flak from mega fans for naming his film 'Gang Leader'. Mega fans wanted the title would suit to Mega Power Star Ram Charan in this generation. Finally, Nani's Gang Leader stood as a flop at the box office.

* Chiranjeevi graced Nikhil Siddharth's Arjun Suravaram pre release event as a chief guest. The film, which was predicted to score a disaster due to delay in release, stood as a decent venture for producers and distributors.

* Megastar released a song of George Reddy. The movie became an above average venture at the box office.

* In Mathu Vadalara, there are innumerable references of Megastar. The film attracted multiplex audience and won the accolades of critics.

* And last but not the least, Sye Raa Narasimhareddy stood as an all time biggest grosser (non BB) of Telugu states with Rs.106+ crore share collection.
