Award-Winning Actress In Controversial Role

Bollywood Star Kangana Ranaut is currently starring in Thalaivi, a biopic on former Tamil Nadu CM Jayalalithaa. It is known that Kangana Ranaut is an award-winning actress at the national level not once but twice.

Even then, the makers are planning to cast another award-winning actress to power Kangana's Thalaivi. Inside talk is the makers are planning to cast Priyamani, a national award-winning actress in the controversial role of Jayalalithaa's close aide Sasikala.

Director AL Vijay and the producer Vishnu Induri felt that since Jayalalithaa and Sashikala characters involve a lot of emotions, Kangana and Priyamani would do full justice in those roles.

Priyamani according to sources is excited to play the role. The film stars Aravind Swami as Jayalalithaa's mentor, former CM of Tamil Nadu, MG. Ramachandran.
