Hollywood Descending Down To Tollywood

Rajamouli's magnum opus Baahubali elevated the standard of Indian cinema at the international level. Ever since the Baahubali sensation, many international stars showed interest in starring in Indian films.

Hollywood star Samuel Jackson expressed his desire to star in Baahubali 3. Sometime back another Hollywood star Bill Dukes invited Super Star Mahesh Babu for a lunch to discuss about a spy thriller.

There were times when movie lovers thought that there is a wide gap between Hollywood and Indian cinema. But the borders are getting erased and crossover film Silence, titled Nishabdham in English stars foreign actor Michael Madsen in an important role. The film also stars Anushka Shetty and Madhavan in important roles while the film also features Anjali and Shalini Pandey in key roles.

Manchu Vishnu’s crossover film Mosagallu is directed by Jeffrey Gee Chi who straddles across both the Hollywood and the China and has earlier made films specializing in fictional dramas and documentaries. Kajal Agarwal plays a crucial role in the film that will also feature few foreign actors.

Now Rajamouli is taking Hollywood entry into Tollywood to another level. His upcoming multi starrer RRR with Ram Charan and NTR stars Hollywood stars like Olivia Morris, Alison Doody and Ray Stevenson. These developments may lead to more Hollywood stars starring in Telugu films in future.
