SS Rajamouli, the name is enough to bring audience of all sections to theaters. Joined hands with him for his ongoing high budget entertainer Rrr are Tollywood super stars NTR and Ram Charan.
In fact, no big strategies are needed for this film to grab the attention of national media and generate interest in North audience. Rajamouli became a household name across the country after Baahubali and like Telugus, Bollywood audience are also anticipating eagerly for the release of Rrr.
Interestingly, Rajamouli unlike earlier roped in Bollywood stars Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt to play important roles. Many expected both the actors will have enough space in the film.
Given that, 70% of the shoot has already completed and Alia Bhatt, Ajay haven’t yet joined the shoot, we can assume that, they are playing cameos in Rrr.
Apparently, Rajamouli zeroed in the popular Bollywood artists only to enhance reach of the film in Hindi belt. And then, to capture international market, Hollywood stars are cast in for crucial roles.
Of course, Rrr’s major screen space will be shared between NTR and Ram Charan. Roping in Bollywood and Hollywood actors is just a market strategy.
But, the question is do a Rajamouli directorial really need such false strategies?
