When movie lovers and critics of late are happy that finally Tollywood stars and filmmakers are showing interest in coming with experimental films undergoing a transformation, now it seems Tollywood is going back with few stars and makers going back to the routine stuff.
In the name of periodic entertainers and family entertainers, few are trying to come with old and routine, monotonous stories. Rumors are also spreading that two upcoming films are having similar repeat stories. They are Sai Dharam Tej's Prati Roju Pandage. The songs and teaser released by the makers reminded movie lovers of Ram Charan's Govindudu Andari Vaadele and Sharwanand's Shatamanam Bhavati.
Similar emotions and climax were shown in many films earlier ever since the success of Seetharamayya Gari Manavaralu. But the filmmakers changed the story treatment and have been trying to be different. So Maruthi too is banking more on comedy rather than on the story.
Sharwanand's upcoming entertainer Sreekaram is all about farmers. The film comes with a message on farming in a village. In Mahesh Babu's recent hit Maharshi, the makers touched the same formula. The question is can the makers of Sreekaram impress movie lovers with a similar storyline. Sreekaram is directed by newcomer Kishore Reddy.
