Are They Copy-Pasting Baahubali?

Director SS Rajamouli set a new trend with his magnum opus Baahubali which elevated the standard of Indian cinema at the international level. It is known that Rajamouli generated tremendous interest in Baahubali by releasing the poster of each character until the release date.

Now it seems that the makers of Bollywood film Panipat too are following a similar strategy. Ashutosh Gowariker who came with blockbusters like Lagaan and Jodha Akbar is drawing inspiration from Baahubali for his Panipat.

Panipat stars Arjun Kapoor in the lead and features Kriti Sanon, Sanjay Dutt and others in important roles and music is scored by Ajay-Atul.

Till now the posters released by Panipat makers and the colors used, character sketches all resembled Baahubali. Though the trailer got a good response in YouTube, doubts are increasing on Panipat as the director earlier came with a disaster like Mohenjo Daro.

With the team already facing flak for copy-pasting Baahubali, it has to be seen what more interesting elements Panipat has in it to wow movie lovers.
