Sarileru Advanced, An Advantage?

Initially, Super Star Mahesh Babu’s Sarileru Neekevvaru and Stylish Star Allu Arjun’s Ala Vaikunthapurramloo were planned for release on January 12th. What’s so special about this date? Why none of these actors and his filmmakers were reluctant either to pre-pone or postpone their film?

Usually, filmmakers and stars opt to Friday release. But, why makers of both the films were particular about January 12th which happens to be Sunday. The reason is January 10th is a horrible day for the makers of both Sarileru Neekevvaru and Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo.

Mahesh Babu’s 1 Nenokkadine under 14 Reels Banner released on January 10th and turned out to be a disaster. Pawan Kalyan’s Agnyaathavaasi directed by Trivikram Srinivas under Haarika and Hassine Banner was also released on same date of January 10th and ended as biggest disaster for the actor.

So, makers of Sarileru Neekevvaru and Ala Vaikunthapurramloo have decided not to release their film on January 10th.

To avoid the clash, Mahesh Babu and his makers have now come up with alternative option to release their film on January 11th.

Producer Dil Raju who is a big devotee of Lord Balaji feels Saturday is not a negative omen. In fact, he opines it will be an advantage for his film to have solo release to rake record numbers on day one.

Coming to other Sankranthi outings, Rajinikanth’s Darbar will release on January 10th while Kalyan Ram’s Entha Manchi Vadavu Ra is planned for 15th.
