It’s always difficult to shoot at the border, given that, permissions are not given easily and many restrictions are imposed. Then, how could makers of super star Mahesh Babu starrer Sarileru Neekevvaru had shot their film in most restricted areas in Kashmir like Pahalgam where permissions for the filming is available only from 5 am to 10 am.
As per reports, Central Home Minister Rajnath Singh helped them to get the required permissions. However, producers for the safety of Mahesh Babu applied for bulletproof security for him, and he could reach Pahalgam because he was escorted by the security.
After shooting at Pahalgam, they later shot near Srinagar for a few days before wrapping up the schedule. Incidentally, it was a day after the unit landed in Hyderabad that the announcement of abrogating Article 370 was made.
