Whom Should Macho Star Blame?

Gopichand worked hard after he tasted a disaster with his debut film as hero Toli Valapu. He made a mark as a powerful villain before establishing himself as a mass hero.

Since people knew his hard work, they have a soft corner for him. Gopichand who till sometime back as per trend scored hits doing one or two action films. But now he is fast disappearing from the screen by not updating according to the trend.

While almost all stars be it seniors or youngsters started doing different genre films, Gopichand for all his mass image and following is not coming out of the routine entertainers and thus experiencing disaster talks.

Even NTR and Ram Charan who once renowned for out and out mass entertainers have changed track and are doing different genre films. Others wise none expected films like Nannaku Premato from NTR and Dhruva and Rangasthalam from Ram Charan.

However, stars like Gopichand is coming with routine entertainers chanting Mass Mantra. Gopichand came with a routine film Pantam for his milestone 25th film. Recently he did another mass flick Chanakya and thus lost his market completely. Gopichand once had a market of around Rs 25crs and now it came down crashing to Rs 5 crores. He has himself to blame for his present pitiable condition. If he does not change, it will reach zero soon. However, he is expected to come back on track with his next with Sampath Nandi. The yet to be titled film is billed to be sports drama with all commercial ingredients.
