Starring in the biopic of his favorite freedom fighter Bhagat Singh was the long-lasting dream of Mega Star Chiranjeevi. Even though few Bollywood stars came up with films on the life of Bhagat Singh, he wanted to present it in different way. But, unfortunately, his dream remained unfulfilled.
However, Chiranjeevi was convinced to step into the shoes of first freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy. Paruchuri Brothers penned the story long ago. But, Chiru entered politics and bid adieu to films then.
After making grand comeback with Khaidi No 150, Chiru took up Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, a biopic of Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy. When no producer dared, Ram Charan came forward to invest on the project and Surender Reddy was roped in to direct the project.
Sye Raa was made with 250 crores budget and the film is turning out to be a blockbuster in Telugu. Chiru will next team up with Koratala Siva for a commercial entertainer and he also has a film with Trivikram Srinivas.
Now, as per a grapevine, Chiru has shifted his dream to his son Ram Charan. Chiru is said to have asked Charan to star in the biopic of Bhagat Singh and the mega power star is said to have given his nod to fulfill his dad’s wish. However, they are looking for perfect script and director who can aptly handle the project.
On the other hand, Ram Charan is presently doing RRR under the direction of Rajamouli. He is playing the role of young Alluri Seetha Rama Raju in the film, where NTR will be seen as young Komaram Bheem.
