Young Rebel Star Prabhas and Bollywood top heroine Shraddha Kapoor starrer Saaho hit the screens today across the globe in record number of centres. The film is also featured by Neil Nithin Mukesh and Jackie Shroff in other important roles. Directed by Sujeeth, the movie was bankrolled by Pramod and Vamsi under UV Creations. Here is the tweet review of the film.
- Under world gang in Mumbai and a series of robberies.
- Jackie Shroff that is Roy introduced and so is Vennela Kishore.
- With Murali Sharma's content dialogue, mass entry for Prabhas with fight scene.
* Prabhas, the under cover cop, loves at first sight with Amritha aka Shraddha Kapoor
* Underworld don Roy's son Vishwak aka Arun Vijay also joins.
* Vishwak shows a locker to other gang that had 2 lakh crores. But key is not with him.
* Ashok, Amritha and other cops on a mission to catch Mumbai robberer.
* Waaji city's locker key is kept in a black box which is in Mumbai but not traced by anyone.
* The Black box, which is hidden in a locker of a bank is stolen by a thief (Neil Nithin Mukhesh) and is chased by Ashok. Here comes an unexpected twist which leads to interval.
** Saaho first half offers nothing new except some hair raising action sequences. Confusing screen play and incoherent sequences.
* Bad Boy song. Stylish picturization in exotic locations.
* Black box missing. Kalki (Mandira Bedi) worries. But there is a tracking system arranged, assures Vishwak.
* Gun fight with goons.
* Baby won't you tell me song. Shot in picturesque locations. Appealing VFX.
* Saaho is caught by Devraj gang. He is assigned a new task. His love interest Amritha is also caught by Dev Raj gang.
* Much talked about Dubai action and chase sequence. Well shot but without content or emotion connect.
* Kalki opens locker with the black box. No money found.
* More action sequences lead to an amazing twist about Saaho.
** Show ends. The second half is coupled with full of action sequences. Except the climax twist, there's nothing in this half to engaged.
OVERALL REPORT: Saaho maintains the production standards at top notch while a few songs like Baby Won't you love, Enni Soni and Bad Boys are felt positives. Dubai action sequence was also shot on par with Hollywood standards. Barring these advantages, rest of the film is too disappointing. Confusing screen play turned a curse for the film and the director Sujeeth deserves to be blamed. BGM of Ghibran was loud. Innumerable action sequences with lack of emotional connect are huge setbacks. It was an artificial romance between Shraddha and Prabhas. On a whole, Saaho needs to struggle a lot to achieve desirable result at the box office.
