Saaho Setup: Right Or Wrong

Young Rebel Star Prabhas' upcoming entertainer Saaho is racing to create a sensation by shaking the box office releasing on August 30th. Even as release date is fast approaching, rumors are spreading that fans of Prabhas and Telugu movie lovers did not like the songs released till now. None of them looked massy and much to the shock of Prabhas' fans, there are no foot tapping dancing moves.

Prabhas is seen just walking round the hot beauties while they tried shaking leg teasing and seducing them. The makers came with an explanation that they have composed the tunes according to the tastes of the Bollywood movie lovers.

This raises the question as to whether the story too is penned according to the sensitivities and tastes of the Bollywood movie lovers. It is known that South movie lovers love their heroes to stun with their dances and powerful dialogues. Apart from it, they like hero centric films and mass entertainers with powerful stories.

But in Saaho, in some scenes Shraddha Kapoor dominated Prabhas and in songs, Prabhas was seen walking just like Mahesh Babu. Many are heard commenting that even if Saaho songs are done away with, Prabhas fans will not get disappointed.

But others say there is nothing wrong in Saaho makers making the film according to Bollywood viewers tastes. It is known that Prabhas' range increased with Baahubali and he is no longer a South star. In fact, Prabhas himself is targeting Bollywood market and so he compromised on dances etc.

Analysts say Saaho despite all its frills and thrills should have a strong story to show its power. Just mass elements may at times present unexpected hits like iSmart Shankar and Bollywood movie lovers too may love mass entertainer as they are deprived of such films, but in the final run, strong story is needed to power Saaho to greater heights.
