Ramesh Varma is on a high with the response he is getting from Rakshasudu. He had a roller coaster ride after entering the industry as a publicity designer.

He made his debut with Oka Oorilo which turned out to be a disaster. He later copied a Korean film to make Ride which turned out to be an average grosser.

Ramesh Varma got the golden chance to direct Raviteja with Veera but failed to use the opportunity and came with a disaster. He tasted another disaster with Naga Shourya's Ammayito Abbayi. In between he produced films like Mallepoovu and 7.

Ramesh Varma's career got flooded with flops and finally, he tasted success with Rakshasudu. Speaking to scribes, he said, “Basically, I do not like to do remakes. But I did Rakshasudu due to obligation. I am having lot of stories and planned to do a film with Nithin. Even Nithin and his father liked the story I narrated to them but due to some unforeseen circumstances, the project did not takeoff. In future, I would like to do a film with Nithin with the same story."

Ramesh Varma further revealed, "I have stories for almost all heroes."
