It's true that it is easy for relatives of yester year superstars to venture into the Tollywood compared to the outsiders. Unlike outsiders they have an existed pool of fans and supporters. Even with flops, they will get new movies and constant financial support just because they are from those big families.
There are talented actors like Pawan Kalyan, NTR, Mahesh Babu, Allu Arjun, Ram Charan, Prabhas and many others who came from big families of TFI and also have the charisma to hold the stardom.
Coming to outsiders, every film is a challenge for them. Even couple of flops can ruin their career. Natural Star Nani who was lauded as next big thing in industry couldn’t reach the next level of stardom. He’s the first outsider to reach 50 crore mark. But, few flops dented his market. Even with extreme positive talk, his last movie Jersey ended as an average grosser.
Nonetheless, one hero who is growing big despite having godfather in the industry is Vijay Devarakonda. Many feel that, it was his aggressive attitude that brought him this newfound stardom. But, they were wrong. Though Vijay is aggressive while speaking at public events, he is very good at selecting right scripts.
Buzz is extremely high on Vijay Devarakonda’s next outing Dear Comrade slated for release on 26th July. Paired opposite him in the film was his Geetha- Rashmika Mandanna. Directed by Bharat Kamma, Vijay will be seen speaking his dialogues in Kakinada dialect for the film time. Earlier, he uttered his dialogues in Telangana accent in his previous films.
Unlike his contemporaries, Vijay is not giving nod to directors on the basis of their previous track record. He is particular about good scripts, and nothing else. He is teaming up with newcomers as well as flop makers.
Interestingly, few upcoming stars who feel that, Vijay Devarakonda became a star because of his attitude are also making some harsh remarks at public functions for public and media attention. However, they are quickly taught that, its content that makes stars, but nothing else. There’s a saying in Telugu, “Pulini Choosi Nakka Vatha Pettukunnatlu,” which rightly apt for them.
