Chiru Has No Role In His Arrest

During the 80s and 90s, Suman along with Bhanuchandrer showcased his martial arts skills on screen and gave tough competition to top stars like Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna. He along with Bhanuchander came up with many multi starrers.

When many predicted him to reach the next level of stardom, he was arrested and sent to jail in a blue films case. He languished in jail due to non-bailable warrant in the case but did films like Bandipotu, Ugranetrudu, Palnati Rudraiah getting court permission.

Though he made a good comeback, he couldn't reach his previous stardom. During those days rumors spread that Chiranjeevi, NTR and Balakrishna were behind sending Suman to jail as they saw him as a threat to their stardom.

Suman many times responded on the issue and rubbished all the rumors. Suman once again rubbished the rumors saying, "Neither Chiranjeevi nor his family members had any role in my arrest at that time. Those who hated Chiranjeevi spread those rumors. During those days there were no channels and internet and few dailies and magazines spread lies with such news to increase their circulation."

Suman continued saying, “Even I had no role in the case in which I was arrested. I landed in trouble due to few of my friends. During that time Krishna and Karunanidhi helped a lot."

C Kalyan, top producer who is close to Suman and Mega Family said, “Suman got close to bad company because of which he landed in the blue film case and his subsequent arrest."
