New Heroine Lands In A Lurch

A new heroine with her performance stole the hearts of all in her debut film in Tollywood. She played the role of a sportswoman in her first film and her performance won her many awards and rewards.

But much to the surprise of all, she didn’t get any offers and she got confined to shop openings and stage programs. Recently she got an offer as a second heroine and is sharing screen presence with another top heroine opposite a popular star.

What is surprising everyone is she is given only travel and maintenance allowance of Rs 5 lakhs and the producer refused to pay any remuneration to her. To add insult to the injury, he has been going on boasting that he gave her offer when no one considered her.

The poor actress has nowhere to go as any complaint against the producer with the Film Chamber will turn her into persona non grata in the industry. Irony is that the other heroine is getting a whopping Rs 1cr as a remuneration.
