Rana Draws a Blank in Tamil Nadu

Daggubati Rana's Nene Raju Nene Mantri emerged as a decent hit in Telugu. The movie got dubbed into Tamil as Naan Aanaiyittal but is outrightly rejected by audience and critics. Collections in Tamil Nadu are awfully low and the Baahubali effect is not seen.

This is a major setback for Rana who is pursuing to become a hero with pan-Indian appeal. He hoped that his good work as Bhallaladeva will help him in all the industries across country but it is not the case at least with Naan Aanaiyittal.

On the other side, Rana recently made an impressive Television debut with No.1 Yaari. The show emerged as one of the most watched shows in AP and Telangana states. Rana made the show energetic and engaging with his lovely hosting style. 

Despite Rana and Kajal Agarwal being popular names, politically high knowledged Tamil people seems to have disliked the Teja mark tricks and moderate production standards in the film.
