Has the union government decided to confer India's highest civilian award Bharat Ratna to late Ntr posthumously? If the ongoing happenings are observed carefully, Ntr is likely to be adjudged Bharat Ratna.
It's learnt that TDP's MP Kesineni Nani sent a letter of requisition to the union home department seeking Bharat Ratna to late Ntr. Strangely, the TDP government received a reply from home department. The union home ministry conveyed the message that the requisition letter was sent to PM Modi and he would be authoritative to take a decision whether the award is bestowed to Ntr or not. Never ever such practice of home department had done before.
And more strangely, late Ntr's wife Lakshmi Parvathi gave her nod to Ntr's sons or other relatives can receive the award from the President in case Ntr's close relatives are reluctant her receiving the award. It's now predicted that top brass from TDP and Venkaiah Naidu might have changed her mind set on Ntr's Bharat Ratna award issue.
Let's await if these predictions are proved right or not.
