Absence of one star heroine like Samanta from current market is directly creating a row of problems for big budgeted star heroes’ projects. Yes, combinations decide the trade value of a film in market and when Mahesh Babu-Koratala Siva, Ramcharan-Sukumar combos are officially announced, there’s big necessity for respective producers to have a star heroine in the team.
Initially, Koratala thought of bringing in Keerthy Suresh and talks went in the same line. Sukku too thought of Rashi Khanna as female lead for his project. However, none of these directors are said to be happy because both the heroines couldn’t match the magnetic charisma and chemistry needed to withstand their heroes stardom.
Accordingly, first Rashi Khanna and then Keerthy Suresh are shown the exit door. Reports now suggest that Koratala, Sukumar have only one final option and it is Samanta.
But, Samanta is evading the calls from Telugu directors, producers and concentrating on Tamil for the basic reason of her marriage is on cards with Akkineni Naga Chaitanya. One more classic example, Tollywood is falling short of glamorous and talented heroines who can match the ease of young star heroes. Don’t ask about the sufferings of veteran star heroes like Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna, Nagarjuna or Venkatesh on the same subject.
