Life of Hathiram Baba and that too set in Lord Balaji’s abode Tirumala backdrop should have assured more than half of success for hero Nagarjuna, director K Raghavendra Rao and producer Mahesh Reddy when they conceptualized ‘Om Namo Venkatesaya.’ In a surprise round of events, the movie is declared as one of the biggest disasters till date in this year because buyers have lost more than 60 per cent of their investment despite critics, reviewers and a section of audience who watched the flick showed a thumbs up.
