As expected, Megastar Chiranjeevi marked his comeback in style with 'Khaidi Number 150'. Never seen openings of the film, also indicated how desperately people are waiting for his reentry to Tollywood.
'Khaidi Number 150' collected a share of Rs.25.05 crores in Telugu states and stood at first in top ten grossers list. Earlier, Rajamouli's 'Baahubali' held the record with Rs.21.63 crores share. However, humongous budget of Rs.130 crores, extraordinary VFX and folklore genre collectively made the movie a huge hit. But then, Chiranjeevi pounded 'Baahubali's record with a commercial potboiler that was made with quite a comfortable budget. His everlasting charisma has weaved a magic again.
Khaidi Number 150' also came very close to 'Baahubali's collections in the US. While 'Baahubali accumulated $1.36 M, 'Khaidi Number 150' amassed $1.270 M in the US. The film is hoped to set new record with its first weekend's collections as well.
