Rumours of Prakash Raj-Sobha Rani wedding

The twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad are on Thursday agog with rumours that popular Tollywood actor Prakash Raj and president of the Mahila Rajyam, the woman wing of the Praja Rajyam Party (PRP), Ms Sobha Rani, got married at a secret place in Chennai. However, both Prakash Raj and Ms Sobha Rani dismissed them as just rumours.Prakash Raj, who shot into limelight with the Telugu blockbuster, Bullet, has recently applied for a divorce with his wife, while Ms Sobha Rani who has been staying away from her husband has till now not obtained divorce.It all started on Thursday afternoon with a  website flashing some pictures of Prakash Raj and Sobha Rani in a single frame posing before the camera as a couple. Soon after the photographs appeared on the internet, the local satellite news channels did not lose any time to give the ‘Breaking News” of the ‘couple’ entering into wedlock.

One particular popular news channel has even gone to the extent of announcing that it has some exclusive wedding photographs of Sobha Rani and Prakash Raj in its possession. While interviewing Ms Sobha Rani, the news channel claimed that it has the pictures in its kitty which will be flashed ‘later.’
However, all this turned out to be false after some experts have made it clear that the photographs that appeared on the internet are manipulated. “Using the skills of the technology some miscreants might have played the mischief and all the pictures are just managed and are not original,” IT experts and some senior photographers stated.

When TNN contacted Prakash Raj he rubbished it as just a cooked up story by someone. “I do not attach any importance to that. It is al false,” he said and refused to give any details.Ms Sobha Rani, however, said that she was deeply hurt with the rumour. “Since I am in the public life it is my duty to explain to the people that it is all false. I have no connection whatsoever wit Mr Prakash Raj. Someone played a costly game with me which will prove very dear for me in my political life,” she observed.
