Prudhvi, popularly called by Telugu cinema loving audience as 30 Years Industry is repeatedly getting criticized on the same element of imitations. In fact, he grew big in industry and became a reliable artist depending on spoofs, most importantly of Balayya Babu. Bowing down to requests and warnings from Nandamuri Fans couple of months back, Prudhvi promised never to emulate Balayya acts in upcoming films.
Unfortunately, the yesterday released ‘Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu’ has bit the ground as director E Satti Babu banked more on same parodies and Prudhvi seems to have just followed his director instructions becoming the second half hero. Common verdict from common audience was, MEK is one more rotten spoof with an over boring Prudhvi.
This is an umpteenth suggestion by media friends given to Prudhvi asking him to remain distant from spoof scripts. After Allari Naresh seeing a gradual downfall in career for the same reason, now Prudhvi is also on the verge of getting axed. Of course, the next question will be… what more can Prudhvi do other than this?
