Chiranjeevi Khaidi No 150 Trailer, Can It Match Satakarni?

Still Challenge Ahead For Chiru Khaidi No 150
Still Challenge Ahead For Chiru Khaidi No 150

Two of the top veteran stars fighting in middle with their prestigious 150th and 100th flicks will be one of the rarest scenarios to see in Indian cinema. This is now the happening discussion in Telugu film industry because Chiranjeevi’s ‘Khaidi No 150’ and Balakrishna’s ‘Gauthami Puthra Satakarni’ have become the honored releases for coming Pongal season.

Beginning to take a sharp leading edge, GPSK trailer unveiled yesterday has appeared more like a serious warning for Chiranjeevi to remain cautious in getting ‘Khaidi No 150’ trailer out soon and throw a challenge by matching his quality.

Right from genre selection to technical detailing, director Krish is obviously taking an advantage over VV Vinayak from day one these two projects have been initiated. While ‘Khaidi No 150’ suffers mainly on remake branding, times aren’t the same when regular commercial potboilers with social message are welcomed.

With advent of phase changing blockbusters like ‘Bahubali,’ even the lower order audiences are also talking about VFX, visual grandeur, story backdrop, technicalities as innovative film making is ruling current day Box Office equations and stardom is considered null.

Everything depends on ‘Khaidi No 150’ trailer, if Chiru overcomes the hurdles and matches his charm with ‘Satakarni’ standards, the Pongal battle will be between two equals else it can turn one-sided at least on paper.
