With just a day's gap, the ruling parties of AP and Telangana got a shocker each from the High Court. As we reported earlier, the AP government released a G.O. the other day which reads every student of schools and colleges should pay Rs.10 towards 'My Brick My Amaravati' program. No sooner the G.O. was out than there was a stir among the people and opposition political parties. They alleged the government was deliberately forcing the people to develop a no man's land.
In the meanwhile, a case was filed against the G.O. of the AP Government and the High Court stayed the G.O and ordered the government not to be indulged in collecting donations forcibly from the students. Hearing the judgement of the High Court, students across the state got elated and have reportedly celebrated.
On the other hand, the TRS government's decision of prune the election period to 15 days from 25 days, has been lambasted by the people and the opposition parties. Then again, the High Court stayed the decision of the TRS and extended the poll period from 15 days to 31 days. This has come as huge shocker to the TRS party.
From the above incidents, it has been evident that ruling parties should be humble and cautious with their decisions and should not be arrogant at all. If not, they may face bitter experiences.
